Where Sport, Consciousness and Plant Power Come Together

I'm Manon, World Champion Downhill Mountain Biking (Masters) and founder of Mystic Cacao. Although these two worlds seem far apart, for me they've become naturally intertwined.

The connection

Downhill mountain biking, contrary to popular belief, isn't about chasing adrenaline. For me, it's a meditation in motion—requiring complete presence, conscious line choices, and an almost zen-like focus. When I ride, there's only the path ahead, my breath, and the flow of movement. It's my moving meditation.

I found that same state of presence and connection in ceremonial cacao. Just as my sport demands a balance between strength and precision, cacao offers a unique combination of gentle power and focused awareness.

My Journey with Cacao
As an athlete, I understand the importance of mental clarity and inner balance. Cacao offered exactly what I was looking for: calm focus, steady energy, and a deep connection with myself—beyond the pressure to perform.
It wasn't overwhelming, but subtle yet powerful. This experience resonated with how I wanted to live and exercise.

My journey began with Spiruella, where I discovered the power of pure plant energy. This experience, combined with my discovery of ceremonial cacao, formed the foundation for what Mystic Cacao is today: a brand deeply rooted in authenticity and tradition.

The Mayans and Aztecs considered cacao sacred—a gateway to deeper wisdom and healing. This ancient knowledge remains at the heart of Mystic Cacao. We carefully select our pure ceremonial cacao from Peru and Colombia, where local farmers possess generations of wisdom and craftsmanship.
